A recently conducted independent study was done by Thomas J. Stephens & Associates, Inc., Dallas Research Center, on the effectiveness of the Eternox Wrinkle Reduction System, a product by Therapon Skin Health. The study was conducted for a twelve week period in a single-center, controlled clinical environment. The study evaluated effectiveness and tolerability of the Eternox Wrinkle Reduction System and included biopsies, VISIA imaging, clinical grading, pinch recoil, NOVA meter measurements, cutometer, and ultrasound measurements.
The study consisted of 14 female participants between the ages of 45 and 60 years. For participants to qualify, they had to have the presence of mild to moderate severity for lines and wrinkles in the periocular area (eye area) and lax skin on the jaw/neck area. Clinic evaluations were conducted with a baseline of 6 and 12 weeks, the following conclusions were made:

One of the most amazing results was the neck skin laxity decreases 40% by 12 weeks. This is similar to results seen after facelift surgery! In addition to these significant results, participants found an improvement in pore size, skin dryness, skin roughness and a significant improvement in overall appearance of skin.
The Eternox Wrinkle Reduction System, consisting of the Exfoliating Gel and Peptide Repair Crème, was well tolerated by participants throughout the 12 week period and significantly improved the appearance of photo damaged (sun damaged) skin on the face and neck of participants at weeks 6 and 12 compared to baseline scores. |
